Phanteks PH SPK219_DBK01 Compact Digital RGB Lighting Review

The sound quality really leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, they're not that expensive, but there are plenty of speakers in the same price range that can do more. They don't buy them for the sound, they literally buy them for the amazing light they give off. My biggest concern is the included micro USB to micro USB cable. Too short. Many people like me use multiple monitors on wide desks and the cable isn't long enough to route the speakers through my desk.

I used to leave a positive review but had to come back to leave a completely different review. This item looks very nice and sounds great out of the box. However, you are only stuck in the 30 day return period and this item is only good during that time and others seem to be having similar issues. You may hear annoying white noise in the background and the problem will get worse. Ridiculous. As it is sold through Revain they refuse to help in any way. Your product is only guaranteed to work for

I bought these for my friend's son's first gaming computer. He'll be using a headset primarily, but still wanted a nice looking set of dedicated speakers because the monitor's built-in speakers are just awful. I've heard of them and always thought they looked neat. At $30 he decided to give them a try as he will love the RGB effects and I love Phanteks as a brand. 30 dollars. Where do I start. First, they didn't turn on. After trying different outlets and adapters, I found that the Type-C cable that came with it didn't work like the one I had. Then only one speaker was on and I found that the included micro USB cable didn't work either. Again I had to use one of mine. Finally plugged in but no sound. Nothing. All my sound drivers updated. I even tried other sound drivers than the ones on my Asus motherboard.

Since I bought the Phanteks Enthoo case I thought it would be interesting to carry them with me as they match the shape of the case perfectly. They're great until you turn them on. I really don't know how they can sound so bad. I just do not understand. The speakers and magnets are big enough to provide adequate sound, but the sounds coming out of them are just rubbish when shoved past, eh? WHY FANTEX, WHY?!?!? So much potential for sound, but not decent. Please stick to manufacturing PC cases.
