Probably my bad. This phone is NOT a stand alone phone. This is an extension phone for the Dect phone system. It's useless if you don't already have a system. Don't repeat my mistake.

Good if they last a year even if they are not used. I keep changing batteries in the hope that they will charge and last longer. I think it charges everything and kills the batteries. I have a few of these but they become useless when the main unit dies after a year or so. pain in. phones.

They work fine, but when the volume is set to maximum, people on the phone hear an echo. We mostly used the maximum volume, otherwise the background noise would be difficult to hear. Being wireless, we tend to move to a quieter room when needed.
