Not for me, maybe for someone else

Free fit. When I put the glasses on and bounced, they slipped off my head many times. Also, the design of the connector didn't allow me to connect the phone while it was in a case. The sound quality is okay, but the bass isn't as deep as I expected. Might be better for those using an equalizer with a slightly larger head and hooked up to a regular computer or sound system. Overall better than I expected from Philips.

  • Sad packaging

The cups are too small to fit in most adult ears.

The sound quality is very good, but my experience does not support the claim of a very comfortable on-ear headphone. The small, round cups are too small to fit a typical adult American's ear, causing them to sit partially on the ear instead; It breaks the noise isolation that the on-ear feature is supposed to offer, nor is it very comfortable if the aim is to wear them for long periods of time.

Definitely not the best

If you want a cheap pair of headphones to get the job done these are the ones for you. But when I compare them to my $60 Target Heyday headphones, they're not that good. I know they're $20 cheaper, but the Heyday headphones still have better sound quality, fit my head better, have more comfortable foam earpads, they can be rotated to lay flat, AND they have Bluetooth wireless Features with detachable headphone cable. .The main difference I noticed in the sound between the two is that Philips…

Not bad but disappointing (even for such a price)

Pros: + Generally a solid case. Very solid + very long chord (when you need distance) + decent bass + decent treble + includes an amplifier audio jack + cheap Cons: - No noise cancellation - Bass and treble can be a little tinny at lower volumes - Surprisingly smooth at higher volumes - Price difference (should be a bit cheaper for the quality) - very long chord (if you're using this for pc/phone tuning it's ridiculously long) Overall summary: a little bland in bass and treble but durability is

The long cord is perfect for watching TV

My 2 sons share a room and my youngest son usually goes to bed early but my eldest son likes to watch tv until late. Night. He has Bluetooth headphones, but he often forgets to charge them. I was looking for long cable wired headphones and found them here. I was surprised that these $39 headphones have studio quality sound. The packaging looks good with typical Philips branding. The kit includes headphones and a 3.5mm to 1/4 adapter. When I saw the adapter I realized that these headphones are…

Good price but not great performance

For $24 these headphones aren't bad. I was looking for headphones that weren't particularly noise isolating but were clear in the frequency ranges and these weren't the headphones I was looking for. The bass is very good, although with a flat EQ it sounds a bit muddy at high volumes. The high/mid frequencies weren't fantastic, but acceptable. The bass on a flat EQ is much more powerful than the treble and treble. The highs were unimpressive in the frequency response and were often drowned out…
