Description of πŸ’‘ Philips LED 450 Lumen 2700K-2200K Equivalent Bulb

Philips BR20 LED light bulbs with Warm Glow Effect provide 450 lumens of soft white light, equivalent to 45-Watt incandescents with 80% less energy use. These bulbs fit standard medium base (E26) fixtures with the look and feel of a classic bulb. Warm Glow dimming offers flicker-free, silent dimming that works with more dimmer switches than any other LED on the market. The more you dim, the warmer the light--from 2700- to 2200-kelvin just like traditional incandescent light bulbs. These best-in-class, Energy Star Certified Philips LEDs provide steady, natural lighting at 1/4 of the energy of incandescents, 1/2 the energy of halogens and with 10X and 4X the lifespan respectively. Philips LEDs are mercury-free so they don't contribute to harmful hazardous waste. BR20 soft white flood light bulbs fit 4-inch recessed can light fixtures, offering relaxed soft white light that dims to a warm glow. These bulbs are not for use with Philips HUE products. This 6-pack of BR20 LEDs is expected to deliver a lifetime of up to 25,000 hours and over 20 years based on standard usage of three hours per day, saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb replacement.

Great LED bulbs if you like warm light

I have 8 of these bulbs installed in my house and they work great. They have a pleasantly warm glow, comparable to incandescent lamps. I was concerned that switching to LEDs would ruin the warmth of the lights in my house, but that's not a problem. I like these lamps very much. Pros: β€’ Warm color β€’ Dimmable β€’ Very quiet (see note below) Cons: β€’ Slightly brighter than incandescent bulbs at minimum dimming. For me this is not a determining factor, but you can tell if you dim the light very low…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Finally! Dimmable LED bulbs that really work!

This is a BR20 test. I just moved into a house with LED light bulbs in the living room. You're on the dimmer. The previous owners put in a bunch of fake lightbulbs that annoyed me to no end. I've tried replacing them with bulbs of various types and brands, most of which I bought from Home Depot, but none of them worked. They all either flickered or did really weird things like turning on with a very faint glow even when the switch was off. I've experimented with a number of different…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Hurry to expand this product line, Philips!

The warm light dimming feature is great. Really excellent color temperature both at full power and when dimmed. I'm renovating and need these lightbulbs. Unfortunately, the Warm Glow line is limited. R20 bulbs are only available in 45W equivalents. It's ok for a living room, but in my kitchen I need over 450 lumens per bulb. 60 watt equivalent A19 bulbs (800 lumens) give me plenty of light, but since these are "A" series bulbs I'm going to fit the inside of the can and the back of the baffle…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style
