Lamps of recent months, not years

Terrible. Don't buy this. I started marking the date when I laid new ones. Burnout occurs after 6-9 months. I feel cheated but the promise is that the LEDs will last for years. Some like. It's not like this. Update: After checking the warranty process with Philips, I would downgrade my rating to zero stars if I could. They want you to keep any bulb that burns out and then send each bulb back so they can make sure it doesn't work and only then will they discuss an exchange/return. Before you get

  • Soft white: Philips BR30 dimmable LED lamps provide warm and comfortable light with a high CRI (Color Rendering Index); 2700 Kelvin bulbs provide bright, clear colors perfect for can style recessed lighting

Good build quality and nice bright, soft white lighting

They are of good build quality and are available in packs of 12. Soft white is attractive because it's warm but not too yellow and not too blue. The packaging specifically states "Philips LED BR30 Dimmable Inner Reflector, 12 pcs. packaged, 11W / 2700K / 10,950 hrs / 120V". The packaging was very…

Pros
  • Energy efficient: Philips BR30 dimmable LED bulbs use around 80 percent less energy than 65W incandescent bulbs while retaining the look of a classic incandescent bulb; Philips LED bulbs are mercury-free and Energy Star certified
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

I want people to wait a few months to write their reviews.

I ordered a BUFFLE of these bulbs to replace my house's dying collection of original CFLs that lasted 5 years. I was hoping for good, even lighting and energy savings. I received both in about 6 months. Then they started dying. First they blinked and flickered, and then they died. These lightbulbs, meant to last 22 years, began to DIE after SIX MONTHS. Now I'm really getting annoyed because it's almost impossible to get a perfect match of soft white from one brand to another. So I either have…
