Get what you paid for.

I bought a lot of these because they are cheap so I used them for a year and they broke, usually an earphone broke at some point. This is the last time though as this time they were broken right out of the box. The plug also seems to shorten over time, the twisting of the plug causes a static noise inside the earbud which is annoying until the earbuds finally close. But since they are new and the left one has already been cut out, I won't buy them anymore.

Terrible in every way.

I was looking for inexpensive wired headphones with a working horn to connect to my desktop speakers. Instead, the II received barely functioning headphones that are very cheaply made and perform incredibly poorly. Cheap: If you pull the cables too hard I'm sure they'll just snap. The cables are very thin and coated in cheap rubber or silicone, which means that not only are they flimsy, but they also warp and can't be straightened at all. Also, they are too short to be practical. Why Panasonic,

Good sound but so uncomfortable!

I bought these headphones to listen to music and podcasts while hiking. At first I thought they were great. They sit comfortably around my ears and the sound quality is very good. But about an hour later everything changed. The area where the receiver sits in my ear started to hurt. The more time passed, the more it hurt. As I neared the end of my two-hour hike, I had to take them off. The area of my ear where the receiver was located was very painful. I tried to use them again the next day…

Terrible quality! good for in ear headphones

I bought these to replace a similar pair I had for 2 years that broke. They lasted several weeks of normal use, and the cable just above the 3.5mm jack began to snap and wear out. But I bought a protection plan so I figured I was protected. No, of course the mechanical coating does not include the wiring and case, so I have to file a claim with Philips. Annoying, but let's see what happens. So I call Philips and file a claim. First they need a receipt, then photos of the damage. No problem of…

These are the only headphones that fit me

These are the only headphones that fit me period. I'm glad they're still being made. Apple has never worked, no matter how many different ears they claim to have tested on, they're not safe to begin with and fail on the first sniff. I can do whatever I want with them and they stay where they are. Yes, there are other headphones with better sound quality out there, no question, but sound quality is useless if they don't stay in your ears to hear the quality. I use them all the time for running…

And I absolutely love her. My ears

Update 2/8/16: I've been using my "hooks" for almost two months now. I still like her very much; However, there are a few things that caught my eye that I would like to add to my review. First, I experienced intermittent static in my ears when disconnecting my devices (iPad Air2, iPhone 6s, Macbook Pro) with the ear hooks on. Hooks are not easy to put on and take off. So if I need to disconnect my device for a moment, I sometimes leave the headphones on and disconnect from the device by putting

I used to love these headphones

I used to love these headphones. I've been using the same model of Phillips ear hooks for ten years, switching set after set after using, abusing and destroying them. They traveled with me through Iraq and Afghanistan, experiencing the sand, sun, and hard work that comes with combat. The sound is good, the cable is strong, they never fell off while running. This kit failed out of the box. Build quality was clearly substandard, the cable made a "chunk-chunk" noise with every step, and the…

Reliable headphones at a great price!

These headphones are of excellent quality considering the extremely reasonable price. I'm a runner and recently started lifting weights. I got interested in these types of earbuds because I was tired of the earbuds constantly falling out during my runs. After reading some reviews I decided I didn't need to spend a lot of money on "more expensive" headphones and the reviews for this model made it clear that if I was going to choose a cheap set I had to go with no problems with these headphones…
