I like the idea of having gender neutral ties but they are too small to work with someone with big fingers. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, especially since the instructions were too small to read.

Although these little mistakes are well done, I have to protest that all the connections remain daisy-chained. I still like them but it adds the extra step of separating them and then trimming them with a Dremel tool. Otherwise I would give them five stars.

Tip: You need a special crimping tool to ensure that it functions properly. These terminals will not fit into the housings when using a standard terminal crimping tool. The tool should wrap the metal tabs of the connector so that the ends are against the insulation and conductor. A Delphi crimper might work.

Connections were not very reliable and sporadic. I even tried bending the connector pin a bit to make the connection tighter but it only lasted 1 ride and then it became too loose again. I've tried replacing it with a new one several times and had the same problems.

ATTENTION! I use these connectors regularly and will never use them again. All inserts are chained and not easy to disassemble. You will have to spend extra time to simply trim the insert to fit the connector. They use a larger wire which is good but difficult to use.

They work fine but I'm really not sure why they only offer 4 roller pins for 10 sets of plugs. Separately I used them to create a pair of Powerpole distribution centers, one on a PCB with fuses, lights, USB charger etc and the other on a 3D printed chassis with soldered wires and no PCB and they worked like expects both.

Works as described, extensive range of special tools simplifies assembly. However, they only had 5 pins in the box, so were they expecting only 10 of the 20 pins to be connected? Yes that's silly, depending on your needs and toolbox you might want to try other options. They are functional and I haven't had any shorts at 25 amps at 24 volts.
