Not a gift as tends to be broken or cracked on arrival! Nicely packaged in three types of packaging and protected by heavy duty air foil but still cracked so the glass doesn't appear to be of reliable quality. Many other customers have the same problem or it breaks within a week. It was a gift but at first they just sent it to me to check and of course mine cracked like most so it's just great.

As others have pointed out this bottle and packaging are great. It comes with a pouch of amethyst and rose quartz to be placed in the lower glass chamber. But since these two stones are safe for the direct method, I placed them in a teapot. Each poisonous stone goes to the lower chamber. This is how you can use the Phoenix Crystal water bottle to make an elixir of gems in an indirect and direct way!

This is VERY VERY dangerous glass, I was very lucky I wore glasses otherwise I would have ended up in the hospital with the glass in my eye, it hadn't exactly exploded.
