Tape has a fixed reading that does not require periodic adjustment. Quick, accurate, direct measurement of the diameter by measuring the circumference only. Body width: 1/2". Thickness: .010", .007". Gage member: 1/4". Accuracy: Β±.001". Standard English reading tapes read to .001" diameter. All graduations and numerals are engraved and acid etched on a ground surface.

Failed to Meet Industrial Standard

This product was an absolute disappointment. As a result of using this product, I found that it is not precise or accurate enough for industrial and scientific applications. The tape is flimsy and easily bends, resulting in incorrect measurements. The only positive aspect is the affordable price, but even that isn't worth the risk of inaccurate measurements. Overall, I do not recommend this product for anyone in need of precise measurements.

Standard testing device

What else can I say? Exactly. I have to enter a few more characters. Suitable for measuring the diameter of cylinders. These are round surfaces.

Ideal for concrete cylinders!

I work in a lab and have been using Pi-Tapes for many years. They are ideal for determining the diameter of concrete cylinders because they are very durable, fast and accurate. Essentially, by using a circle to determine the diameter, you get a much more accurate average.
