Bait pump installation on boat

A bait pump is installed openly on the boat. Seems to be working great. Only time will tell if it will hold us back, but it seems well done.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Solid switch. good for toggle

It was better than I expected. Well made and completely waterproof. I used it to turn on and off the wireless charger I added to my boat battery box. Holds up well so far.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Expensive

Very good; looks solid!

I just installed; looks very waterproof. Use it on my boat in a marine environment. Paid double for this switch based on the reviews. I'll see how this switch holds up and will report any issues when I do.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Meets all DC toggle switch requirements

Glad to find a genuine branded DC toggle switch instead of the usual general junk. I'm a little skeptical about the 25 amp rating, that's a serious rating for breaking a DC circuit, but it works great when I'm switching a few amps. The fact that it's weatherproof is a nice bonus. Looks and feels like quality work.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Negative impression

Well made and works as advertised

Ultimately it's just a simple waterproof SPST switch. I've used this to disable the ABS on my V-strom (thanks for not mentioning that Suzuki) and it's really good at breaking continuity when shifting and it's really good at water protection. It seems very well made and the toggle switch itself is metal under a rubber grommet (which you can easily remove if you don't need it). If you need a waterproof SPST switch, get this one.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Very Good Switches - Spare Parts

These are not the cheapest products you can use for a boat wiring project, but they are probably the most durable, easy to install and waterproof. In my opinion this is a true marine grade switch. I've had LED lighted switch panels and other devices that look really cool, but they're not durable, don't handle heavy water well, and depending on the product, connecting the cord can be a problem. These PICO switches are built to last, and you can't go wrong connecting them. I have used 3 on a…

Well done. Well sealed.

Well done. Well sealed. The tumbler cover screws onto the switch neck after the mounting nut and has a skirt that appears to surround the mounting nut and abuts against the end (latch side) of the surface through which the switch is mounted. The body of the switch appears to be encased in a rubber cap that fits snugly against the back of the surface through which the switch mounts. In short, when installed, the switch appears to be well protected from water ingress. The contacts on the…

Durable switch.

I made this to add a local on/off control for ambient lights that I added to my enclosed cargo trailer. The switch appears to be well made, with a durable rubber finish including added support where the wires exit the back of the switch housing. Hookup wires are 16 gauge and about 6 inches long. However, these are aluminum wires, not copper wires. There should be a gap of about 2 inches behind the panel for the switch. An additional rubber mount on the back of the switch keeps the wiring…
