Well done. Well sealed.

Well done. Well sealed. The tumbler cover screws onto the switch neck after the mounting nut and has a skirt that appears to surround the mounting nut and abuts against the end (latch side) of the surface through which the switch is mounted. The body of the switch appears to be encased in a rubber cap that fits snugly against the back of the surface through which the switch mounts. In short, when installed, the switch appears to be well protected from water ingress. The contacts on the underside of the switch are screwable and open to the environment. The switch is not submersible but looks quite nice. There are O-ring tumblers where the "ball" at the bottom of the tumbler is meant to seal the water; As far as I can tell, this switch doesn't have such an O-ring.
