I am an artist who uses a lot of these. As you can see from the photo they are about 1/2 times thicker than I expected (this is the top one in the photo, the bottom ones are the ones I used before). I haven't tested the screws but I don't intend to use them or hangers due to poor quality.

The rings seem fine. I like the shape and the way it's crimped so the rings don't come loose when bent, but the screws that come with it are complete crap. My regular screwdriver just skips and removes the head, and even though I pre-drilled holes in the frame, the screw head sheared off when tightened. I'll see how it goes by hanging more frames, but next time I visit the hardware store I'll definitely pick up better quality screws.

I use these D hooks on every artwork/frame I collect. Basically you screw 2 of these D hooks into the back of the frame. Usually about 1/4 down. Then a braided wire is pulled between them. This keeps the artwork safe. When I go to local stores to buy D ring hooks they usually come in 3 per pack! You use 2 at a time! So you need either 2 or 4, not 3!
