OEM-compatible! Easy installation!

My turbo changeover valve failed due to a broken rubber seal. This part fit right in, was fairly easy to install, and cleared my P0299 Check Engine light code. There are many instructional videos that explain how to replace this part. I recommend trying this if your 2.0T P0299 trips as it is an inexpensive fix for a part that has been known to fail.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Works great updated valve replacement Audi B7

Bought a used Audi B7 which still had the old version valve. This one, while difficult to get to the valve location, was easy enough to install and has worked great so far (has about 1000 miles on it). Recommend if you haven't replaced yours yet or are having trouble installing it, it's pretty easy to maintain.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Minor issues

She returned to normal

There was a P0299 code. I cleaned up the code thinking I fixed it, but it's back. Did my research conclude that VW/Audi shipped a junk diaphragm valve from the factory? And it really broke when I took it off. Ordered this new improved piston valve from Pierburg. Now she purrs like a kitten and wriggles like a panther. She's on fire again. The problem is solved

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Easy DIY P0299 Fix for Engine Parts

Last Revision Replacement for Audi DV. Youtube DIY / how-to video for conversion to Audi. With my Audi it was very easy. It must have been the slow death of turbo power until I recently got the dreaded P0299 CEL. After installation, my car was like new again! I am a very happy customer. If only replacing the cam follower and PCV valve were that easy. I have attached photos of the old version with the "rubber seal" and the "new" piston style.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Repair

Fixed P0299 Low Pressure on my 2006 VW 2.0T FSI

Received code P0299 (Low Pressure/Loss of Pressure) on my 2006 Jetta GLI 2.0T FSI. I have a noticeable drop in power and a louder turbocharger noise. I removed the old control valve (part #06F 145 710 B) and saw that the diaphragm had several cracks preventing the turbo from holding pressure. Replaced with this newer piston type changeover valve (Part #06H 145 710 D) which has no rubber diaphragm and never needs to be replaced. This should also match anything with part number 06H 145 710 G. For

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Updates
