My turbo changeover valve failed due to a broken rubber seal. This part fit right in, was fairly easy to install, and cleared my P0299 Check Engine light code. There are many instructional videos that explain how to replace this part. I recommend trying this if your 2.0T P0299 trips as it is an inexpensive fix for a part that has been known to fail.

Bought a used Audi B7 which still had the old version valve. This one, while difficult to get to the valve location, was easy enough to install and has worked great so far (has about 1000 miles on it). Recommend if you haven't replaced yours yet or are having trouble installing it, it's pretty easy to maintain.

Received code P0299 (Low Pressure/Loss of Pressure) on my 2006 Jetta GLI 2.0T FSI. I have a noticeable drop in power and a louder turbocharger noise. I removed the old control valve (part #06F 145 710 B) and saw that the diaphragm had several cracks preventing the turbo from holding pressure.
