Poorly cut threads on glass connector, unusable even

Threads very badly cut, difficult to screw onto the can. Tried other canisters and fittings for charging. Lost/damaged 134a canister when trying to connect.

He does what he has to do.

Worked great. Suggest applying paga or mineral oil to the seal. Just press firmly. Update: Worked well for the first 5 cans. After that it stopped working properly. You have to unscrew it all the way and damage the valve in the can and then unscrew it for it to work. The can is no longer self-sealing.

  • Automotive

Easy to use do-it-yourself solution!

I bought this to help with my SUV's do-it-yourself refrigerant filling. This adapter made it easy to screw it into a 12 ounce can of coolant I bought at a local auto parts store and then connect the AC gauges. It was easy to use and made the job quick and easy. I would recommend this adapter to anyone who wants to do it themselves and save a few bucks by having to charge their AC system at a local store.
