Disappointing Fuel Pressure Regulator

My analysis of this automotive product showed that it lacked durability and essential features. Although it was easy to install, it failed to maintain steady fuel pressure and gave inconsistent performance throughout my test runs. The only positive aspect of this regulator was its affordable price, but unfortunately, it came at the cost of subpar quality.Overall I wouldn't recommend this product to other performance car enthusiasts looking for reliable fuel system components..

Pros
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • Lacked durability and consistency.

Works well so far for spares

I was dying to fit this in my car so I fitted it as soon as it arrived. It was very easy, you just have to pay attention to the flow direction. I started the car and noticed a gas leak, but I couldn't figure out where. I tightened all the clamps but it still leaks. I took it out of the car, took it apart, put a gasket on both ends of the diaphragm and put it all back together. Then I reinstalled it and it works as expected.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
