Don't hesitate to buy. Excellent sound quality

Best radio I have ever bought. Out of the box, the sound quality of my speakers improved significantly without me having to adjust the tone. Definitely a must have if you're looking for a high performance receiver for less than $100.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Mostly Good: Auto & Vehicle Electronics

The only thing I don't like about this stereo is the SmartSync app that has to be used with it. The app interface is annoying and not very intuitive or user-friendly. Even though I've adjusted my settings to allow the app to access my phone's microphone, I can't use voice-to-text in my car when it's connected to my stereo.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • So far so good

Didn't turn it on but only found out about it after the return date.

I personally have nothing against the company because I get one in a million defective units. We traced the problem of the unit not turning on back to the stereo unit itself, where a live wire contact was not sending current through the unit. I know there was a small chance this would happen and it's just bad luck. Unfortunately we cannot return the device because we tried to install it too late. Therefore, to the best of my knowledge and belief, I cannot give this single device a good rating…

User interface Awufl

This device is equipped with a blue light interface. The way the UI is highlighted is distracting and annoying, and also difficult to read. The buttons are too small and none of them are logically arranged. The volume slider is also a button that shows up in "Settings" for some reason. When increasing/decreasing the volume, I often accidentally hit the sensitive "Settings" button while turning the knob, then have to press the "Back" button before the volume can be adjusted. Once on my truck…

Dimmable radio that outperforms all others

This is a good radio that has exactly the features I need, AM/FM radio, USB and Aux ports (both on the front) and bluetooth Audio. I love wireless, I have BT for calls, BT headphones for the gym, a Bose wireless speaker (that's great) and now this for the car. This is a radio with a simple design and dedicated buttons on the front so you can easily change channels and play/pause, skip or rewind when using your phone via BT or USB connection. I usually use BT unless I need to charge my phone…

Nice stereo but instructions could be better

The sound quality is excellent. I love all of the audio quality customization features because every car's interior is different and reflects the sound differently, giving you the ability to customize it to your liking. Cons: The instructions were confusing. I installed this on an older 1996 motorhome with a Ford Econoline chassis so trying to figure out the wiring was a problem with the instructions. I finally found a YouTube video that explained each cable and its function for this stereo…

NO EXTERNAL MIC NO CONNECTION SPACE

I bought this for my wife's old Toyota convertible. So I made sure it had an external microphone and a place to plug it in. The pictures clearly show the microphone jack on the back just above the unknown jack (WR?) next to the 4 RCA jacks. The resulting device had no microphone connector, no mystery connector, and only two RCA connectors. All I wanted was a Pioneer identical to the big one in my old Toyota (of course it's discontinued) which was just superb. He will be back as soon as I speak…

  • Free for educational purposes

PIONEER IS MY RADIO SELECTION NUMBER ONE

I had an old Pioneer stereo that was 9 years old to be exact and a signal cave in my 2000 Silverado. I bought and installed this MVH-310BT Pioneer. I figured I'd have to remount it or change the faceplate. but all I had to do was unplug the old stereo and antenna and plug in the new one. it was sooooo easy and quick to install. HANDS UP TO PIONEER for creating a great sounding stereo system while keeping the same wiring as single seat radios. I've been using this radio for a week now. and I…

Great option for those who have long given up CDs

All the features I wanted. I don't care that this main unit doesn't have a CD player because it's 2015. Spring. Bluetooth is pretty good. The best way to control song functions is from HU when the cell phone is still in my pocket. Only a few times have I had a Bluetooth 10 error or something. Just turned off the power. You don't have to shoot a star. In terms of performance, there are two 6.5-inch and two 5.25-inch speakers out for my mids and treble, but the rear RCA outputs go to my 8-inch…
