These speakers have more than I expected. They played next to bikes with 2500s in them and they were as loud and clear as they were and not that loud. Live by them.

I recently replaced the head unit and then decided to put it in as well. Doesn't matter! They are very clear and bring out a lot of sounds that I hadn't noticed in songs before. They also have bass, but that's not what they're there for.

Used these speakers to replace the stock front door speakers in a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. They were very easy to install and included a bracket and cables. I had to cut off the standard connector and attach the attached one. Works great, sound quality is decent for the price, if you are looking for heavy bass they are not made for that purpose.

I installed these in the front doors of a 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Only the Pioneer's tweeters and rear doors were replaced. I don't think the Entune factory stereo does them justice, I have a Pioneer GM-D1004 Brick amp to give them a little extra power. Maybe they'll add an under-seat subwoofer in the near future.

Then one of the cheap ones stopped working after about 3 months. Good luck with the guarantee. So I bought this Pioneer. It's been 2 months and I'm very happy with the sound. Not tinny and not dull. Seems like a good buy for the price.

While I'm not sure what "transparency" or "thickness" means in the context of 6" x 9" speakers, I gave these speakers top marks, easy because they transformed it. my listening experience in my car.
