Just what I needed

I bought these because I was working on a tiled floor and my knees hurt from the hard surface. I was hoping they would offer some protection against hard surfaces. I knelt on a towel to help, but it was very uncomfortable because I had to keep moving to lay the floor. These knee pads worked great, were very comfortable to wear, stayed in place and provided the protection I needed. I was able to walk three floors in two weeks without knee pain.

Great before they fell apart

The first few times I wore them they were uncomfortable but after tearing them I didn't realize I was wearing them anymore. They are nice and thin, but at the same time offer comfort. The elastics are a little painful for hairy legs, but otherwise they're great. NOTE: Do not hand wash them in hot water! They survived two washes in the washing machine but when I hand washed them in the sink the foam inside fell apart and they are now unusable. Didn't think I was being rude to them. Ordered a new

Slim and comfortable. Works as intended

Thin synthetic material (e.g. fitness t-shirts and drip-fit) with good elasticity. The padding is decent for the occasional slight bumps I got while working on my driveway machines (weekend warriors). Works well when I have to get on my knees to align jacks, work in wheel wells, remove/install wheels, etc. These sleeves are lightweight and breathable. However, these knee pads are very light. Developed for sports with knee loads. They probably won't last very long for what I use them for. Also…

Great pad for accidental bumps

This is fantastic protection from accidental bumps. I wear them for karate and kobudo and they protect my knees very well. In fact, they are not designed for kneeling. They might be fine when on your knees, but wear out pretty quickly if you spend a lot of time on your knees. For tasks like this you really need something with a hard outer shell and a thick gel inner layer. The hard shell allows it to withstand a lot of wear and tear without breaking and the gel is more resistant to constant…

Great for my son's basketball games

A lot of the high school boys on my son's basketball team have been wearing knee pads or leggings with knee pads this year. We found that these kids looked much more confident when they were aggressive and chasing the ball because they weren't afraid of falling. Landing on your knees doesn't hurt. So we bought some for my son who is already aggressive but risks his knees a lot and he wears and loves them. He didn't complain that they made it difficult for him to walk or that they bothered him…
