Ideal for long bed F-250; stayed tight all night; easy to set up.

Advantages: - Convenient built-in pump. One package less. He stayed tight all night. The inflatable part above the fenders provided sufficient cushioning for comfort. It really turned the entire truck bed into a sleeping area. Cons: - Seems a bit low on the sides. We had to grab the center all the time because it looked like it was domed, and we were rolling off the sides. - I'd like it with inserts in the wings. After buying from Revain I saw that Costco sold it with fender inserts for the…

Worst item I have ever bought

Worst item I have ever bought! I feel cheated. I can't believe Amazon sells this. I bought one just before the end of summer to take on a Labor Day hike. Air holding valve stuck open. So you can bet our trip was spoiled. Called Revine and returned it to a new one. I didn't use the new one right away because it was winter. Finally got my hands on a new air mattress this weekend. I was happy to see that the bed was inflated. Until I woke up on the hard surface of the back of my truck. Hell, it…

Bad quality for the price.

The valve that keeps the mattress inflated after inflation and also used to deflate the mattress in position got stuck in the open position and I couldn't fill the mattress. I bought this product about 2 months before my 2 week trip, so I only tested the mattress 1 time before the big trip. The third time I tried to inflate the mattress, it wouldn't hold the air. The valve was stuck open and I couldn't find a way to get it to work properly. This is rubbish for the price. I went to REI to pick…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

I was very excited and proud of my AirBedz - it's a great idea and design (built in pump , wheel arch cutouts, etc.) is fantastic, but given the price and marketing geared towards adventure travel, it's incredibly disappointing how many times I've had to spend hours trying to find a leak and then fix it, only to find that I wake up to the metal of my bed again a few nights later because the Air Bedz was completely deflated overnight. Lately I've had enough of this circuit and was faced with a…

Sleep well, mistakes happen

I was very excited about this product. It gives you a firm bed and fits my 1st gen well. Unfortunately I only managed to use it twice and each time it failed in new and unexpected ways. The first time I used it was on a long hike. The second night I couldn't hold my breath. Somehow it got a small leak under the hood and above the wheel arch in the crease. I don't think he even made contact there and I swept the bed before using it. Not a big dial, I used the patch kit that came with it and…
