Simple and effective

Works as intended. I had to run a wire through the wall I wanted to hide. That helped. The only thing I would have liked was a little more bevel so the element overlaps a bit further from the whole (in its current form it's almost flush). This allows the dowel to hide more mistakes made when drilling a hole in the wall.

Pros
  • Flexible tabs conform to the shape of the inserted item
Cons
  • Obsolete

Grommet worked for us and routed USB and Lightning connectors

Easy to install if you have the right drill bit to drill a pretty hole then install the grommet on our two floating bedside tables, USB and Lightning. two layers. See photo with both shelves. In front of these grommets, the wires went one way or the other, you had to fumble around to find them.

Pros
  • Stabilizes cables and shafts
Cons
  • Weak

Ideal for routing Ethernet cables and speaker cords

I rewired my home network and speakers. I could have just left the drywall holes as they are, but I wanted a little more "professional" and cleaner look. So when I looked for wiring solutions/kits, they cost a pretty penny. Search "TV Cable Organizer" in Revain and they start at $20. I didn't want to spend that much money so I kept looking and came across this one. Some notable points: 1) This one is small, about the size of a quarter. Therefore it is ideal for use with a cable. I've used it…

Pros
  • High Quality
Cons
  • Can't remember
