I have a Planet Bike Super Flash V on all three of my bikes, two road bikes and one commuter bike, all of which ride the bumpy roads of New Orleans and endure hours of heavy rain. These flashlights work stably in all conditions with a long battery life. They retain a charge when not in use. Of all the taillights I've used, these are my favorites.

I know the previous generation of this product , so I was expecting more than I ordered. Unfortunately the product arrived defective and accidentally switched between flash modes. I've tried turning it off and on again with no success. As much as I expected this on my bike I had to come back for a refund. I also had to pay for the return shipping to Planet Bike. I hope this isn't a common problem with this model as I specifically chose it for its style, size and lightning pattern.
