Ok, here's how to do it (on Grandstream GXP1620) Click on the circle in the middle of the 4 arrows, this opens the menu. Go to settings. Go to Headset Type. Select Plantronics EHS. That's it!

After a long deal with Plantronics customer support, our headset problem was narrowed down to this adapter. The ability to hear the person on the other end doesn't work. You hear them for a while and then all is quiet. Happens frequently. I wish we could replace it. Too bad there isn't even a one-year guarantee.

We added the Savi 740 Plantronics Hands Free to our phones but were unable to answer or hang up using the headset alone. With the APV-63 EHS Adapter we are now working properly and enjoying the mobility that the headset offers. Very easy to connect. Fits perfectly with our headset. This electronic modal also eliminates the need for a bulky hand lift adapter. Love it.
