Terrible sound quality

I already had a Legend headset for my phone so I bought a USB adapter for Skype meetings from home. The sound quality is absolutely terrible compared to the BT connection to my phone. I've tried several times, checking the quality of the network in Skype - to no avail. Sorry, but that's useless garbage. I bought a cheap wired headset instead and the sound was 10x better. save your money

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Factor set

Perfect fit for Skype for Business

I bought this to use with Skype for Business after using other Bluetooth tips that didn't work with Skype. Unfortunately you have to pay so much for these things, but that's it. This device is specially designed to work with Skype. If you want to do this, either buy it or visit Microsoft's website to check which IS is supported.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great product, best in the Computers and Accessories category

I bought this product as I installed a softphone on my computer for work. I had an existing Plantronics M180 headset for my work device, so I bought this to pair my cell phone and softphone with the same headset. It works great with Avaya Softphone and Microsoft Lync/Skype. My only minor criticisms are that it very rarely momentarily drops the connection and doesn't recognize/tell the computer that a headset isn't connected. So if my headset is off and someone calls, the computer doesn't know…

Pros
  • This is amazing

Possible Product Defect

As with all negative reviews, remember that companies have manufacturing defects from time to time. That doesn't mean ALL of these headsets are bad, just the one I bought. Overall, I believe Plantronics makes some of the highest quality audio products on the market. They last a long time and cost extra money. I have recommended and used them both personally and professionally and have not been disappointed. Accessories: The hook turned out to be very flimsy and cheap, which is unusual for…

Works great with my old laptop

This was the perfect solution for my 'work' laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth installed. I can't add it as I'm not allowed to rebuild the laptop with additional apps. With the Shelter-in-Place order, I tried using a wired headset to talk to customers, but that was an issue. Someone told me about a "dongle adapter", I just had to get one that was compatible with the Plantronics Legend headphones I already had. I got it, plugged it in, changed a few settings on my laptop and it works great. The…

Works great: Computers and accessories

My original dongle broke because I was a bit lazy and put it in my laptop USB port when I wasn't using the headset, also when traveling and she got it the fatal blow on the way. This worked great with my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset used on my corporate network via MS Office Communicator and MS Office Live Meeting. It also works fine on my PC with Skype. I went online to find out how to pair the new dongle with my headset and it was easy. An unreserved recommendation.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive
