The little glow bug is adorable and love that he or she lights up purplish blue when pressed! The.playdet is cute too, especially the little.leaf the bug settles into to swing or sleep. I thought the pond glowing and playing mystical musical type sounds when you trace your fingers along the sculpted maze. It's a cute little magical world. I do wish this had come with a book like the other glow friends toys.

This is now the third toy from this collection I have reviewed. Unfortunately, this one also has the same issue the first did, and that problem is that it requires a bit more effort than I would like to see to light up the toy. For little ones, this may lead to frustration and them constantly having to ask mom or dad to turn it on for them. This is a really cute toy. The firefly is adorable and I know my 2 year old niece will love it. I tried tracing the glowing pond but the light did not even come on let alone follow my finger, which is what I expected it to do based off the description. I had to press on it quite hard to even make the light and sounds come on, and the light came on in a different part of the pond from where I pressed. My four year old is obsessed with the Glo Friends line. This is a cute little playset that comes with a light up Firefly character. Batteries are already installed. You press Firefly's stomach for a brighter glow, press again for a duller glow, and once more to turn it off. My preschooler can easily use it himself. The pond that glows and follows your finger is kinda pointless. My kids really only play with the firefly that glows. The firefly is pretty cool.

This is such a cute toy, but it is difficult for him to turn it on. The screw does not work when you try to replace the battery. Very cheap construction. The battery died within weeks. I'm annoyed with this toy.
