Best solves our heating, cooling and air quality problems

Our 2001 wood burning fireplace was a lot of trouble. Converting to propane, which would really heat up, cost over $2,650. Switching to propane as a "decorative gas appliance" costs $660, and propane is too expensive to waste here. We looked at the gas logs but decided not to include the installation costs and gas costs. As our second electric insert, we were a little concerned. However, this insert works great for half what we paid for the other. The remote also works well with a CR2023 battery. Controls both the lighting effect and theโ€ฆ
