SINCE THERE WAS A WARNING THESE RAN BIG, I BOUGHT THEM 2 SIZES SMALLER AND THEY FIT WELL. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE ! I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST SINCE THEY WERE SO CHEAP BUT THE MATERIAL DOESN'T FEEL CHINTZY SO I'M HOPING THEY WILL TOLERATE MANY WASHINGS.

I would give more stars but had to return as they are too big. The sizing chart didn't work for me! I do like the feel of material and will order in a smaller size. I usually wear a 1X but will order down a size.

I usually wear a Size 5X. So I ordered 3 pairs seemed like a great deal for the price of $7.50. They are knit and very comfortable. I like they fit just below my knee. They are way to large on me and very baggy. My husband laughed because they are so lose in the waist they almost fall off. I am not sure if you can see in the picture there is about 10 inches of baggy material in the stomach area and hang way below the crotch area. Got two for my very stylish 96 yr old aunt who is now looking for comfort along with style. She is a size Large normally and I got her the Medium size. Fit her great! She loves them! Wears them often.

Shelter in place has me sitting around stress eating. Then I needed bigger shorts-sad face. I read that Roamans seems to run large, so I took a chance and ordered what should be too small. They fit! Thank goodness! For reference I am size 26-28 and I ordered the 1X they fit perfectly. I'm sure I could have gotten away with a 2X, but I prefer them to fit more snug and not circus tent. The material is of good quality.

As per reviews, sizes run large so ordered 1 size smaller. Fits a little loose but length is perfect. Material seems good quality but I have not washed it yet. After washing, I will consider purchasing more.

I am a tall woman and I love the length. I want to wear shorts but don't need my thighs showing. These are perfect for me. Attracts lint and fuzz easily.

I bought these because they said had a 12" inseam. They do have that inseam before washing, after washing they shrank to 10.5" I'm very unhappy!

If I had read the reviews more carefully, I would have ordered a much smaller size! I don't like fantasy plus sizing. It's just confusing! BUT, the fabric is soft and of good quality knit. So if you watch the sizing, they are a great buy!

This brand runs big, so order a size down and you're good. The reason for 4/5 is because the color faded kind of fast. Fabric discoloration after washing.

These shorts are well made and soft. However, I would suggest purchasing a size lower because they are too large compared to other shorts that are the same size.

I received size Small. I had meant to order a larger size but somehow messed that up. I do like them though - they fit my sister who is a size 10. Then I reordered a 3x. While size 10ish is large for a size small, but it is normal for Roaman's sizing, as typically this is a brand for larger women - my personal favorite brand. The pockets hampers the line of the shorts losing the opportunity for the smoothest fit. Also the fabric is very warm, so not good for hot humid climate.

I find all of Roamans pants fit strangely and this is no exception. I'm a big girl but I don't have a huge belly. These shorts are nice but there is this weird saggy part in front. I guess if you have a really big belly, you would like these.

I wasn't sure about this type of short cut being that I am on the heavier side. When I tried on the pair I was very pleased. I thought why have I not tried these before. They are made very well and are soft, comfortable and roomy. I don't fell the need to hide my backside so much if you know what I mean. I ordered more a month later.

I typically wear a 2X in pants/shorts (18W), so I ordered "down" a size - a "1X" in Roaman's "vanity sizing". These shorts came and I can seriously pull them up over my chest. There is so much EXTRA fabric in the front area. I will never be able to use these shorts, except to wear them around the house, but I have to roll the waistband down multiple times. The pockets also lay funny. Not a happy camper!

I wear a size 3X ordered a 1X after reading posts, and they fit nicely. Just order 1 or 2 sizes smaller. It is light weight, good for year long wear. I ordered 2 different colors, and I am pleased so far.
