PNY 128GB Duo-Link USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive for Android - P-FDI128GOTGTO30-GE Review

I really wanted to love this product because when I got it it did exactly what I wanted/needed. I would connect it to my phone and access hard drive files etc. On my first, the OTG feature just stopped working. Tried on multiple phones. No visible damage or anything like that, just no reaction. I really liked the product and I decided to try it again and bought it again. In less time than the first ride, this one failed with the same results. Connected to my phone and nothing. Very disappointed

I was delighted to use this on my phone during my trip to Costa Rica. After researching online if it was compatible with my Samsung 8+ Active, we found that it was. I couldn't get it to work or register on my phone. Tried on my tablet. It was registered that we linked it to the flash drive, but it does not allow us to download images. very disappointed. It was definitely money spent and the item will never be used. sad.

Recognizable at first glance, but on a Win 10 computer it keeps disconnecting and quickly reconnecting. For Mac it takes 2-3 minutes to connect and after connecting I can neither read nor write nor formatting. Obviously this is not a software issue but a hardware connection issue. I hope they replace it. This was the first issue with the USB drive, disappointing.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and my work computer doesn't like to connect to it. So I wanted a flash drive that would allow me to move images back and forth as needed. This flash drive works great. It has a small chain that I use to connect my badge or work keys. The only issue I have is that it barely sits in my phone with my Otterbox Micro USB case. It connects correctly but does not fit this cover. I keep throwing it out of the phone but the computer still thinks it has been dirty turned…

Excellent drive. Very compact, lightweight, has a handle for easy removal from the socket, a cap to close the microUSB port when not in use, held in place by an elegant chain. In comparison, a Samsung 128GB Duo of the same size was very tight and I had to work hard to get it out. It broke after a few days and I'm waiting for a replacement.

I received this item as a gift over a year ago and I love it! Put many movies or series on it to use on your trip. I always use it with my tablet.
