I have two of these drives. They are very small and work well. This week one of them dropped out and was only 2 months old. When I contacted PYN, they informed me that my warranty was void because I did not purchase this item from an authorized retailer. PNY is terrible about warranty coverage, make sure you get your receipt and check in within 90 days or PNY will void your warranty. The drive is slow after a few minutes of copying files. It was working when I received it, but after writing it several times over the course of a few days, an error code appeared indicating that the hard drive was damaged. I couldn't format/partition it properly on Windows 10 (using the command line format drive) or macOS Mojave (using Disk Utility).
