Big size to wear, not expensive.

A thermal image is really cool when you look at how heat is actually generated in a store. Also which animals can hide in my barn.

Totally Useless: Thermal Imaging Cameras

The resolution is too low to be used for hot spot testing of fuse panels, although advertised for this purpose. Misleading or outright false advertising. returned

Resolution and pixels do not match!

The packaging gave the impression that it had already been opened and resold. There was a problem retrieving an SD card to save the image. Once I downloaded the software and synced the camera, it recognized the SD card and I was able to save the images.

I like that it's compact, (relatively) cheap and turns on quickly. However, the measurement accuracy was miserable. When first turned on, it will show about 10-15F below actual temperature. If left longer, the temperature will rise about 10F. I think this would be fine for applications where absolute temperature doesn't matter, e.g. It's useful for locating insulation gaps in houses or HVAC systems, for example, but it's useless if you really need to know what the temperature is. I'm guessing that's not the case, but I've read that there's some sort of inventive processing and overlay feature that can improve the look of an image.
