Does not power the Sony A6000 camera.

The title speaks for itself. It charges the A6000's battery but doesn't power it while taking photos. Less than useful for this particular camera. I assume this will be the same for all A6xxx cameras. Well done, good support.

Pros
  • Compatible with any PocketWizard radio
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works perfectly for my needs!

I needed a connection from my Pocket Wizard that would run a Sony a6600 and provide power from a USB power adapter. It worked great on my target lines where they shot for about 6 hours straight. With constant use like this, it doesn't deliver power fast enough to run indefinitely. The battery level will drop during charging/use, but my testing shows that the overall battery life is at least 4x, if not 5x or more. The maximum runtime I need is just over 9 hours, but after the first use I'm sure…

Pros
  • Cable length: 91 cm (3 ft)
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
