Actually ordered by mistake and couldn't cancel. Haven't used it yet but as far as I can tell the vacuum pump is a week old. And the "0" ring can be a problem. I'll see if I can get another one as a replacement. Much luck

I would recommend spending a little more and getting better, one of mine broke on first use, it's pretty cheaply made, it's a little nut on the back that pulls the pump and it has the threads out of the nut blown.

3 stars. These are not the highest quality tools you will ever have. Most likely a Chinese product. The case is terrible, the tools are cheap plastic and everything is very minimal. Based on the other items on his Revain page, a lot of other people don't use it for that either. We are preppers and use it to vacuum wide mouth jars. This is not preservation.
