Best Floss Floss & Toothpick

I have been using POH Nylon Floss for many years and have always had to find a store that sells them even when ordering direct from the Tulsa factory. . I was excited to find it available online. POH has a strong, thin floss that fits between my clenched teeth and does an excellent job of removing plaque and food debris. There is a stronger variant (black thread) and a waxed variant for sharp-edged teeth. I particularly like the version of Classic NoWax presented here.

Pros
  • Many Will Fit
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Love it! The only kind I use!

Poh's unwaxed floss is the only floss I'm comfortable using and I've been using it for years! I mean it fits between my teeth during flossing and it doesn't feel like a tooth is removed when the floss is removed. I also did a test between unwaxed and waxed floss. When I brushed with "unwaxed dental floss" it had "SOME" amounts of food on it. When cleaning with "wax thread" there is NO food on it. I repeated this test over five (5) times with the SAME results! I will never use waxed yarn! Hope…

  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some little things

Great thread! for oral care

It's a little thinner than regular floss but very strong and once you get used to it you'll probably like it more than regular floss. Because it's quite thin, you can actually get in between your teeth with less irritation. Not a fan of the wax type, I don't miss it at all - it works just as well, if not better! I wish it was cheaper though. But I like small containers, they're reusable, so I'll keep an eye out for refills next time.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Not bad

Complete rubbish: dental floss and floss

This material usually breaks. Sometimes it is torn between the teeth. It was torn several times, and the remains of the thread got stuck between the teeth. Every new piece of thread I tried to remove the old part from also broke, which made me panic as I spent 5 minutes trying to find a piece of that thread that wouldn't break and the previous pieces of torn thread between my hands could remove . Teeth. I heard it used to be a good product. Today it's garbage. Find another brand.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Very expensive

What happened to the old POH?

Like other reviewers, this used to be a good product and I've bought it regularly, but the quality has dropped somewhere and is inconsistent at best. It usually snaps and breaks with little pressure, but I'm trying another roll and it might work fine for a half roll. 3 of the 4 wheels were broken. I gave up. By the time I see an ad for "new and improved" products from the manufacturer, they've lost another good customer.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Poor quality dental floss. Skip these.

I have been using this for several years. I'm not sure what happened to their quality control. But it doesn't look like the excellent yarn used before. Not sure if the manufacturer now sends their marriages to wholesalers like this site does, or if the site is offshore and avoids verification. Do not buy this product on this website. It wears out, breaks and gets caught between the teeth. It also causes minor gum cuts. Buy it in coil form from your dentist instead. If they sell the quality yarn

Pros
  • Oral care
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

I'm not the type to write reviews but this time I was annoyed. This is a truly terrible product. I prefer unwaxed floss but I rarely see them in stores so I looked online. I chose POH because I remembered the cylindrical metal container and the red and white markings from my childhood. The big mistake is not the product we had when I was a kid. It literally fell apart (i.e. the thread fell apart and broke in half) every time I tried to use it. I bought four containers and they all end up in the

Good unwaxed floss

Like - the floss is thread and not waxed. It is quite thin compared to unwaxed gum (see attached image). It's too thin for my teeth and I fold the floss twice. Due to the large gaps between my teeth, I have no problem with dental floss tearing and getting stuck between my teeth or feeling like it's about to rip my caps off. POH has a thicker thread on their site that doesn't look like Revain. Again, I can't directly comment on a breakage due to my larger (bigger) gaps, but the rubber strap…
