bad party? - Constructors

These blocks are not very compatible with Lego. They are also a little wobbly, my stepson was building one of the police cars and couldn't glue the blocks together. Every now and then cars would break down, a complete mess.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Damaged

Skill Development: Building Blocks

LEGO is a great way to practice while the kids are out of school because of the virus. They improve visual construction skills. We bought this set for our 10 year old grandson during quarantine because he is such a LEGO enthusiast.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Exterior

Good quality LEGO part

I bought this LEGO City Police Department for my 7 year old son as a gift because he helped me clean up. It's 858 in a box, he spent hours on it and had fun. Although it wasn't a famous brand, the quality of the puzzles is pretty good compared to other famous brands.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not the best

VERY DISAPPOINTED POOR QUALITY

These blocks just suck, poor quality, badly milled, some of them won't stick together. My son and I tried really hard to hold some of these pieces together and if and when we could get them to stick together, WELL they would fall apart when you put the other piece in. The mobile trailer kept falling apart. My son was very disappointed. And he's an AMAZING Lego Technic.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Low repairability

Great for the price

This set is really good for the price. The instructions are a bit more complicated than the traditional Lego instructions but my 9 year old was able to put it all together in two days with only occasional help from me to find some details for the section he was working on. He loves the set. He seems to be a bit "fragile" (which means things break pretty easily in normal child play), but it doesn't seem to bother him, and that probably isn't the case with a similar Lego set either.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Only buy it if you want to raise your blood pressure by 30 points.

I hate this shitty kit. It is not intended for a child of 6 or even 16 years of age. That's ridiculously impossible! If you're a mechanical engineer or architect, you'll probably throw this in the trash. 776 unnumbered packs. They show a little boy playing with it. There was no way he could do anything other than EAT those blocks or enjoy flushing them down the toilet. My 6-year-old grandson can build the most difficult puzzles, rubric bricks and any other LEGO set for ages 10 and up, and he…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • A few little things
