Convenient and Stylish Stainless Steel STARR"X" Wall Mounted Bottle Opener for Effortless Opening Review

I paid a few dollars more here at Revain for a genuine Starr-x polished opener than other standard bottle openers. It's shiny, durable and works as intended. It also looks great. Worth a few euros more in my opinion.

Very nice bottle opener. Quality from America. I bought their catch tank (not made in America) and attached them to a post on my deck. Keeps bottle caps off the floor and stops wondering where the bottle opener is?

The product received was NOT "polished" like the product pictured. The surface is shiny, but due to the sand shape, it has a rough texture compared to the smooth, polished, shiny surface in the product image. I will be epoxy coating the top surface with bamboo veneer to match the cabinet it will be attached to. If it was a smooth surface I would leave it as is.

Works great. You don't even have to worry about aligning the bottle. I had a good Auburn magnet design, but the opener installed on it was terrible. Couldn't get him to open the bottle without a few tries. Ordered this and replaced it and it's great. Since my magnetic back cover was metal with slots for attaching a bottle opener, I had to use the original screws instead of the ones that came with them, which were wood screws.

This is not pure stainless steel as the magnet still sticks to it (slightly). High quality stainless steel doesn't hold the magnet at all. What can I say, I'm very satisfied. Nice polished look. Excellent quality. As you can see from the photos, the bottom part looks more like a molded product as it has a wavy or rough appearance. I attached mine to the outside of the trailer. I live in an arid climate so I can't comment on how it will hold up to the weather.

After reading the reviews of many other brands I was a little hesitant to order one of these. The poor workmanship seemed to mean some products worked well while others failed and the bottle shattered. Eventually I found the Starr brand and was confident that they would send me a good product. I made two wall mounted bottle openers, one for my house and one for my brother and they both work great. Mine even survived the big Christmas party I throw every year (see photo!).

Don't skimp and don't buy a fake. I own a bar and have been dismayed at the number of bottles we have broken opening in the last four years. It didn't happen every day, but I've had two bartenders in a row who broke down. Here it is. I suspected it was the opener in the first place and not our bartender.
