Great for watercolors

I bought this to cover my clay piggy banks after painting them with watercolors. This stuff really makes it shine! I think it looks better water based than acrylic because I can tell the difference after it dries. With watercolors it looks brighter and more elegant, and with acrylics it looks like a marionette. We recently decided to use this on our polymer clay on a rainy day. We watched a YouTube video explaining how to make coasters. I decided to try this with my 5 and 8 year olds. I was pleased to see that the icing didn't stick to my kitchen counter when I applied it. As we waited for it to dry my 5 year old started to lose patience. I tested it and she was very pleased to see that it dries within 10 minutes. We did this last week and my 8 year old friend dropped it. Surprisingly, it didn't crack

Love this glaze. It's basically a semi-gloss finish that gets a little milky but dries to a sheer finish. Coating is quick and easy with a bristle brush or sponge brush, but be sure to clean it up immediately (while it's still wet) so your tools don't harden. I have been satisfied with almost every Sculpey product I have purchased to date! If you want high reflection (or something that looks wet like water or eyes) go for the glossy version.
