I bought this to cover my clay piggy banks after painting them with watercolors. This stuff really makes it shine! I think it looks better water based than acrylic because I can tell the difference after it dries. With watercolors it looks brighter and more elegant, and with acrylics it looks like a marionette. But that's my opinion. This little bottle makes a big difference. I usually add a few drops in one spot and comb through. You really don't need a large bottle of this to work on your project. Unless you have a very, very large project to work on. One thing goes a long way if you use it right.
