Ease of installation. Easy to read and very accurate!

I love these heaters! I have silver dollars and cannot use glass heaters as fish can easily break them. I wasn't too happy about paying over a hundred dollars for a 500 watt heater that didn't have great reviews. So I bought two of these with my 75 gallons, one on each end. I saved a ton of money and now I have a backup in case one of them fails! They are solidly built, they are also very accurate and easy to read! Turtles don't need 58 degree water to swim!

I just received it and installed it yesterday and so far it works (just because I read some reviews), it's perfect! I have a red turtle in a 112 gallon pond that sits on our screened in patio and her old heater rod stopped working a few days ago and I'm stupid I didn't have a replacement like I was supposed to have, or? couldn't track it fast enough until I found it on a Revain that was delivered the next day. Exit after 10 months. No customer support. No guarantee. Seems out of production.

This worked fine for 10 months. Then I noticed that the water temp was no longer the 'set' water temp, so it provided the exact temp (70 degrees) with the 'on/off' signal being in the 'off' position stuck. As it is dangerous to let the water cool down I bought 2. I installed a second one which confirmed the temperature at 70 degrees and the second/new heater immediately heated the water to 79 degrees. Out of service after 4 months

Purchased on 09/19/2020. The temperature control was released around December 30th, 2020. Set it to 82 degrees. The device shows 87 degrees. The "On" light is off. A meat thermometer stuck in the water reads 66 degrees. My guess is that somehow water got into the block (bad sealant/poor quality control).
