This would have been exactly what I was hoping for, but the wrench included to tighten the nut connecting the two pieces doesn't fit between the two pieces. If you are using the wrench your only option is to leave it loose or putting it at an extreme angle. I opted for using my own sockets and could tighten it down, but if you don't have a long socket set, it would be really difficult to do.

This was perfect for installing the Ring, which is pretty wide on a narrow section of trim. Sturdy, well-made, and very quick to install.

Love this Ring doorbell mount. I just wish it adjusted up and down instead of just side to side. Other than that this is great! Hoping I can use the Ring doorbell wedges with this. Will update later.{stephanieann.shops.com}

While it was easy to install for the most part. Mine didn't come with instructions so I don't know if I did it right. It didn't come with enough screws to mount it to my wedge. I think the short screws are meant to secure it to the mount but they're not nearly long enough. And it came with 2 longer screws that I think are meant to secure this mount to the wall? Even though you should still use 4 screws to mount this instead of 2. But anyway, no clear instructions and not enough screws means…
