It works great but looks more like an extension cord than a real midi hub. It receives data from the USB source but does not transfer it back to the computer. You need a USB hub that transfers data back and forth, but it works great if you have a lot of devices that need to be connected to the computer. You just need to connect a small USB hub to the computer itself.

This was a very bad product. The first DOA and the second died in less than 4 months. NOT a quality product. Unreliable. I would rate it under one star if possible. I hope to return this item but it doesn't look good. I'm afraid I just won't have $200, which is pretty expensive for a poorly designed USB hub.
