The air conditioner connects easily. It cools my extra bedroom very well. I like the fact that it's pretty quiet - even on the highest settings. I would recommend this air conditioner for small to medium sized rooms.

I'm so glad I bought this before the heat. This air conditioner is perfect for my room. It only took me two minutes to put everything together and it cooled my whole room. The best thing I love about this air conditioner is the timer: I don't have to worry about the electricity bill, which can seem crazy if I leave the air conditioner on all night.

A few things I like about this unit is that it is narrower than what I have had in the past. Takes up less space in my room. The fan also works well and cools my room down quickly. One of my frustrations, however, is the vent that the air comes out of. The fins don't really control which direction the air exits. You can point them in almost any direction and the air will still go one way. You have very little control over how things will turn out.

Bought this during the recent Seattle heatwave. It worked fine until the temperature rose from around 85-97 degrees. He couldn't take it and leveled off at 62, never falling below 81. Easy to assemble apart from the awful insulating strips and not so much but an unforgivable problem with this unit was that it didn't cool the room it warmed it. The house was 71 degrees, the nighttime temp was 50 and the 8 by 10 foot room was 73 degrees.
