I bought this item because my old phone dock broke. This product is very light and portable. It is very comfortable to hold in hand. It is best to remove the cell phone holder and connect the tripod to your DSLR. I think that's a pretty good deal at $11! You can rotate the phone 360 degrees when mounted with the phone holder. But not in connection with a DSLR.

I love this mini tripod. I use it for ground level shots. It's solid and stable, and you still have portrait or landscape orientation. It's also tiltable so you can see the ground when looking up. So far I've only used it for my phone, I just keep it folded up in my purse. When folded, it is small and thin.
