Originally ordered two and one was defective when opening the package. I could have easily reinstalled the fan to the case mount, but I didn't have the right tools to undo the unique screws they used. RMA no problem. 2nd was ok. They seem to be working fine. It's been a few months at most. I will update the review next spring after going through all their steps.

This little heater was all I wanted for my three season room. The heating performance was unexpected for such a small device. He's so easy. I really liked it, but was amazed when it made a scary loud screeching noise when I turned it on, despite the fact that I'd never dropped it, never spilled water, etc. I'm so disappointed because it was a really great heater. I'm removing stars due to durability issues.

If you are looking for an ALL-METAL HEATING device with excellent heating performance, buy this one. I bought 2 for my guitar studio in the basement. They're a little noisy, but they're very well built, safe, and just trying to find an all-metal heater. I would like to buy 2 more of these. Bought this heater for my art studio. Don't be fooled by its small size. This heater puts out a lot of heat! My studio is about 350 square feet with 9 foot ceilings and is the last one in our building to be heated (FROST!)! After an hour of work, I'm in a good mood. I love industrial design. It's smooth, durable and very well made. Delivery said my heater would arrive within 2 weeks and it didn't show up until 2 days after I ordered which was a bonus as it was so cold!

The product itself was good but it was applied to a very small area in terms of heat. It wasn't what I was expecting or expecting, perhaps due to trying to heat a large open area with a vaulted ceiling. For that it was inefficient. We bought this heater to put in our main bathroom in Houston during two cold months of the year. We bought a fan from this company for our garage and it works great so we decided to try the heater as well. So far no complaints! Firstly, the heater is very well made, like all Fanco products. 12/31/2020 Almost 2 years later. It still works, but it happens from time to time. It works for a few minutes and then turns off for a few minutes. Run, shut up, run, shut up. I have a second heater in the room to take up the sag. Thing is, it's not even hot enough to cause an overload. It doesn't last that long and feels cool. This heater is well built and puts out a lot of heat. According to the product description, the heater has "Overheat protection and 1 year limited by the manufacturer in Texas" and "TEXAS SUPPORT - 1 year from the heart of Texas". I'm assuming the unit will shut off if it gets too hot, but it doesn't have a switch to turn off the power if the heater goes off.
