Bought for my husband who is a truck driver. He likes it very much. He quickly plugs it in and puts the food in for about (30-1 hour) to keep it warm. He said depending on how heavy his plate is. For example, eggs or oatmeal take about 25 minutes. For heavier rice/beans and meat platters, it takes about 45-1 hours to heat up well. But it works so well that he saves food and reheats his lunch based on the time he knows he's going to eat. He uses containers to cook food!
