I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

The most suitable use case is for recording vocals, or speech. Here he is amazing. Not suitable for natural/natural recording. Some pros: 1. Very easy to operate 2. Compact and lightweight 3. Powered by USB (if you feel sorry for the batteries, he does not feel sorry for them at all) 4. Writes voice very well Its cons: 1. High self-noise! I planned to use it in a scenario when the camera records video (landscape, nature, birds there), and the microphone records sound. It turns out that at…

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

I must admit that my familiarity with Zoom-branded products is not so superficial. I have both H5 and H1n. So - both have the same problem - the connectors for connecting the USB cable are unreliable. The H5 broke down in the first year of operation, one of the eight H1n - already in the first six months. For comparison - I had a lot of "Olimpus" DM-650, and their connectors are much more tenacious even in very crooked hands. Another problem is that, in comparison with the "Olimpus" DM-650…

Pros
  • Nice design. Tripod mount available. Microphones are well protected from contact with surfaces. The battery compartment is organized better than that of "Olimpus" recorders, in which the cap is constantly under load and is guaranteed to break in the DM-650 models. Access to the deep customization menu by key combination, which somewhat insures against playful pens. Well-marked record button.
Cons
  • Does not retain time settings when batteries are removed for several minutes. In automatic mode, the recording is worse than that of the Olimpus recorders. The connectors for connecting the USB cable are not very reliable, it can break. The set does not include a lanyard. Drains batteries quickly.

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

I don't like this recorder. I took it to record sound for a YouTube video. Those. connected a loop or a cannon to it and recited the text. He was very noisy. Even on the galaxy s8 + smartphone, the sound turned out to be much cleaner. Therefore, he sold it. If you are going to write voice or quiet sounds, then it will definitely not work - the signal / noise ratio is too bad. Might be good if you have a loud microphone or need to write some concerts.

Pros
  • I didn’t like much - it’s noisy, the built-in microphones are so-so, I have a cheap mm1 boya - the gun gives a much better sound.
Cons
  • - AA batteries. This is the last century. Firstly, I don’t want to buy placers of these batteries, secondly, they can die at the most unexpected moment, it’s better to have a built-in lithium battery that can always be charged to the fullest; - it is noisy with a gain of 6 units, i. E. you can’t really record anything, there will be disgusting noises that need to be corrected at the post, and this greatly spoils the sound; - poor quality plastic - bad built-in microphones; - problems with SD cards. Firstly, the size is no more than 8GB, and secondly, cards from all manufacturers are not suitable.

I think this model is overrated. I'm an amateur, not a pro. But my experience in the past participating in musical groups gave me some idea of the sounds and its properties. No, the recorder writes quite tolerably. But for 7-8 thousand to get a device without accessories, you expect better quality. As already mentioned above, the red price for him is 3 thousand, I don’t know what to pay so much for here. Noise is a problem. Yes, and a well-known bug with volume buttons that make noise and…

Pros
  • Good sound, very high sensitivity You can record voice and if the volume was set correctly, do without post-processing (voice acting, blogging)
Cons
  • Bug with volume buttons Noises

Different pros: He writes very well, high sensitivity, he even writes superbly on a Chinese buttonhole, and writes superbly on a saramonik. Cons below: The plastic is flimsy, you won't be able to write with your hand, it transmits all the noise from the movement of the hand along the body, it accepts a flash drive up to 32 GB.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

Pros below: Really compact. You can connect to a mixer or hook on a buttonhole - a multifunctional device. I used the first version before, here the management is more convenient. With its cons. With a plastic case, you need to be careful, there were no batteries in the order either.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

In general, a very good recorder for various tasks (recording interviews, sound from the remote control, etc.) take it, you will not regret it) Different pros: ate in design, added sound level adjustment with a wheel, which is very convenient. The recorder itself has become lighter in comparison with the first version of h1. A more modern and more user-friendly interface. Cons below: The quality of the plastic has become worse (when compared with the h1 of the first version), the use of two…

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

In my humble opinion, this is the best of all-rounders. That is, they can write music, voice, use it as a usb microphone. There is also Tascam dr-05. Thought he might take it. There, in the reviews, they write that it is just awesome and very natural . But damn it, it has a minus. You can not turn it on and write directly to the computer. Therefore, no. It is big and massive. It is more difficult to hide it if you write the sound on the buttonhole. In general, I still chose the classics. And…

Pros
  • Good quality case Great sound with minimal noise An excellent device for recording from the buttonhole, as well as a USB microphone.
Cons
  • Batteries. I would like a battery. To put on charge and everything is buzzing. And then you need to buy batteries. At what two little fingers. Well, a step back in time. By the way, if you use it as a usb microphone, then there seems to be no problem with the battery, as I understand it is powered by the network, well, or I didn’t understand something.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I use to record a musical instrument. Everything suits me. The sound is very high quality, there is room for post-processing, although I'm not a professional. I bought it on Ali for 6150 in September 2022. I am satisfied with the purchase. Pros below: 1) The sound quality is great! I didn’t have recorders before and I didn’t work with sound. Therefore, the recording quality is felt in comparison with all sorts of smartphones and headsets. With it, you can even hear something that is not heard…

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I have been using the old Zoom H1 model for 12 years now, without any complaints. It took a second microphone (too lazy to carry back and forth from work), I decided to try the ated one. And when he received it, he did not want to let go of his hands. Now I plow for several hours every day, both as a sound system, and as a microphone for conferences, and as a voice recorder itself. I record rehearsals on it, the readability of all instruments is excellent, I even sent successful takes a couple…

Pros
  • Amazingly comfortable plastic, it's nice to hold in your hands. Compatible with action camera mounts through a 1/4" thread, I hang it situationally wherever I want. The sound is just like the old model. Sensitivity is adjusted both with a knob (much more convenient than buttons!), And auto-tuning. It can be fixed in a couple of meters and even a whisper catches comfortably for the listener. Works as a good quality external sound card. You can turn off the microphone sound transmission to the connected headphones, which is very good.
Cons
  • Now you need 2 AAA batteries for power (the old model had one AA). When the stand / tripod is screwed in, the battery compartment cannot be opened, it must be unscrewed halfway.

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

I have been doing sound for a long time since 1980, in short, it is smarter than the old man’s H1, purely programmatically, but with the same settings, the old ZOOM H1 does not (H1n) have a much larger range and does not eat up the initial phase and manages to softly compress the sound starting from a pause with a sharp pitch the instrument or the vocalist sang sharply, it doesn't matter. I recommend buying an old ZOOM H1 with a check.

Pros
  • I advise you to learn how to use a normal recorder.
Cons
  • The range could be more

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

From tips for recording. Better with a tripod. Set the sensitivity from -12 to -6, it is better to listen in parallel with headphones. The volume rockers should be sealed with tape, especially when recording by hand (minus, if you listen with headphones, you can’t change the volume) But for such a price, the recorder is super! Very satisfied! I recommend!

Pros
  • Recording quality, you can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone
Cons
  • The body creaks
