Save your money! Buy a hand warmer, it does better

I've been looking for a car heater and reading reviews for over an hour. Since this one has the best reviews, I was hoping. All in all, if you're buying this for kids in a car and no heating, don't waste your money. It doesn't warm up the car and it's not a big deal, I let it run for 20 minutes and we still couldn't feel our hands.

Non Heater: Heaters

This is advertised as a vehicle heater/defroster. It defrosts the pane well, but does not replace the heater. I have a 30 minute drive to Michigan. It does an excellent job of defrosting/deicing the windshield but doesn't heat up my Jeep Liberty. Great price and great product but the car heater advertising is misleading.

Not so great!: Heater

It really didn't do much! It was absolutely cold outside and my car heater wasn't working so I ordered this. It doesn't really warm anything unless it touches your skin. I had to hold it while driving to even feel it. It was better than nothing but not worth the money. I would say it's like the lowest blow dryer setting. or below.

HORRIBLE waste of money

Do they blow heat? Of course I think so. Barely. Can you feel that heat more than 4 inches from your skin? Absolutely not. So I sent back the 2 I bought. Also, they don't rotate as shown. It feels like you'll break it if you try to turn it. It's pretty easy to take it out of its holder, but when you put it back it seems like you're going to break it. I was really hoping they would work.

Down the drain

I purchased this product hoping to defrost my windshield after my heater core exploded. After using this product 2 times, not even the windshield defrosted. It doesn't even get hot enough to thaw anything. I had to move it through different sections at the same time until I just gave up. The third time I used the thing, I noticed that it wouldn't even turn on. I tried the rear outlet to see if it worked and found the whole unit was gone. Save your money and don't even bother about it.
