Works well with USB cables

I wanted to be able to charge my phone or tablet using my desktop computer's USB-C port without seeing the files on the device. We have a USB to Micro USB data blocker cable that we used to do this with an old phone and tablet with no problems, but I was a bit concerned by some of the reviews that seemed to suggest PortaPow data blockers don't do this would work. fast charging support. Seems my fears are unfounded - my phone is charging fast as I write this review.

Pros
  • Not suitable for charging laptops as they require a data signal to charge.
Cons
  • Annoying

Nuttin, but POWER goes to your device.

Many rental cars are phasing out the ability to charge from multiple outlets and only offer a USB alternative. Other charging options are via USB at airports and other transit halls. Portapow offers USB-C protection with an adapter or directly to ports. I'm not afraid of data leakage as it's just not possible. Worth every dollar, portable in any small keychain and very durable. Easily recommended for frequent travelers and those looking for data security while charging.

Pros
  • Length 15 cm (6 inches)
Cons
  • Unreliable

Would not believe other reviews

Before purchasing I read reviews and saw people complaining that their phone would not charge with these cables. I thought the others were unlucky but it could just be the wrong batch and I'm sure that should have changed. Well well well! Received mine today and what a big surprise: the phone no longer charges. Truth? Let's see how the substitutions work.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
