but all screws seemed good

Has worked fine for a few months. It loosened a little and started to wiggle from side to side, but all the screws seemed fine. Til today. As I drove with a smoothie in the holder, it literally fell off. just fallen My $8 smoothie spilled on the floor. Not a durable product.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • So far so good

Reliable but wish it was more adjustable

First things first: This item is well made and more durable than I expected. My only complaint (and it's hard to call it that) is that the cup holder only attaches to the horizontal bars. I have a new e-bike and the handlebars are a bit tight, so I want to mount it on a steering column. Hardly worth deducting a star, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Minimalist design, easy installation

I loved how easy it was to put my wife's bike on and that it didn't add weight or interfere with her handlebars. However, after the first ride (bumpy roads and gravel) we had to readjust the clamp and tighten it after it was free. This probably happens with any similar product, but it's good to know that other new users can test it out after their first ride.

The best roller coaster far and wide!

This is by far the most durable bike cup holder I have ever used. It attaches easily, is not obtrusive and appears to be very durable. The sticky rubber grip inside the ring is great - any cone shaped cup/mug should hold up nicely. I have a Klean Kanteen mug that I used because it's leak proof, but because it doesn't taper it doesn't fit very well. This is not a cup holder design flaw, just consider what type of cup you are using. This mug is ok if you don't pound on it - then it may fall out…

Works great I recommend

I've been using this drink holder for over 6 months now and I really like it. I have flat bars so I bought the 31.8mm size to mount to the frame. I put it right behind the foot and use one of those Starbucks sized reusable cups with it. So I still have every opportunity to shoot as tight as I dare. The item itself is well made, not flimsy at all, and the anodized finish has stood up to the weather without rusting completely. There's not a drop of plastic on this thing, so I don't hesitate to…

Goes well with Zojirushi SM-YAE48XA travel mug.

This is one of the three handlebar cup holders I use. The other is a generic model very similar to this PDW in looks and size, and the other is from Delta Cycles, which is slightly smaller in diameter and resembles a plastic water bottle cage with a silicone strap that stretches the two "wings". . I can't say anything bad about it. It attaches easily and securely. I ordered a total of 7 travel mugs to find the "perfect" one that would go well with all 3 of my handlebar cup holders and ended up…

Essential for morning bike rides

I often drink coffee on the way to work and used to have to drive slowly to avoid spilling it with one hand. Pick up a conical cup (cylindrical will not work). Caution: This is not gyro-stabilized and has no suspension, so that when driving over bumps, the coffee runs out of everything that is not completely closed (e.g. ). I recommend this mug which is waterproof and fits very snugly in the holder when you remove the handle from the mug. http://www.amazon.com…

Ideal! Suitable for standard handlebars

Perfect! Suitable for standard poles. I have a mountain bike/street bike hybrid with standard handlebars and it fits perfectly. Super easy setup (no rocket science). I think what confuses some people is that the brace slips/slides into position when tightened. I realize it might seem a bit small at first, but trust me, this standard size will fit almost all handlebars (unless you have crazy custom builds with extra thick handlebars). I almost ordered a larger size but I'm glad I didn't. The cup
