Great replacement EVSE for my 2018 Nissan Leaf SL

I bought a Potato EV Charger to replace my original NISSAN EVSE after my original EVSE was damaged. The Potato EV Charger arrived in Alaska quickly. It comes with a 120V outlet adapter and a compact soft case for storage/carrying. I tested it at charge level 1 and it charged my car just like the original Nissan EVSE. This is a much cheaper option than buying a Nissan part.

Good inexpensive Tier 1/2 EV charger

Have had this charger for 3 days now and am waiting to see how it performs after a few overnight charge cycles. I mainly use it as a 110V charger with an adapter cable, albeit with the 12A setting on the Bolt EV. Initially I made the mistake of plugging it into an extension cord that wasn't rated for high amperage and the plastic on the end of the extension cord got hot and I turned off the high amperage setting. After I plugged it directly into the wall, it works fine at higher currents. One…

Good quality charger, definitely an improvement over the one that came with the car

Brief review: This is a quality charger that is really good value for money and I can't think of a single negative point. to say about it. Longer story and details: This is a definite improvement over the charger I got with my Chevy Volt Gen 2 (2017) - main charge cable (car to charge control box) and wall cable (control box to control box). socket) is longer and the main/car cable is much thicker and stronger.
