This is a very useful aerator. I take my time drinking wine and I love how it allows my wine to breathe so it's ready to drink in seconds. No more waiting because that's always the hardest part. There's a locking feature, which is nice in that it keeps it fresh as long as you take your time with the glass you're sipping on while enjoying conversation and delicious food at lunchtime. Overall this is a great aerator and time saver.

Honest review here. Everything corresponds to the description and the picture. This is a Poura wine aerator. Pouring wine through the topper will oxygenate the wine. That means you don't have to let the wine breathe for 30-60 minutes or use a carafe. That's a great gift. Love it, just wish the spout was a little shorter. It's quite long and awkward, hence 4 stars out of 5. It works great and its spout doesn't drip which is great. I can recommend it.

I love that this aerator closes when not in use for pouring wine. Other aerators do not have a locking mechanism, so after pouring the wine, the aerator must be removed to seal the bottle. Despite the exquisite packaging with quality box and carefully cut foam padding, I was disappointed with the quality and performance of the Poura Wine Aerator. First, the liner is slightly smaller, which allows wine to flow down the sides of the spout and wine bottle. And that with a normal wine bottle with a cork stopper.
