Description of Enhanced Power Stop KC1905-36 Z36 Truck & Tow Front Caliper Kit - Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors, Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads, Calipers

good pads and rotors but poor quality calipers.

Power Stop is my favorite brand of pads and brake discs. Tried the calipers this time and they are BAD. One of the brake hose screw holes does not match my screw. A piston on the other caliper does not move freely. The red coating is not durable, the paint peels off in the process. I called Revain and they refunded me for the caliper. I'm sticking with Napa calipers for now.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Major parts missing

I ordered this kit on purpose because it was supposed to be a "complete kit". When I received the package, I immediately noticed that there were no calipers in the box. I called the number that says "Missing or broken parts, please call". The person I spoke to worked directly at PowerStop and didn't seem to know anything about brake parts. Then she pretty much told me since I bought from Amazon that she can't help me. As practical as Revain is, I definitely miss the personal and professional…

Brake kits Power Stop - the best solution for the money!

Love love love Power Stop brakes. This is the only manufacturer of brake parts that I will use. This time I installed the kit on my 2002 Ford F350 CC 4WD DRW LB 7.3L. It's a big pickup that can tow anything. I installed a Z36 Truck & Tow front brake kit on it. Everything fitted perfectly and I easily passed the burglary procedure (outside the city with almost no traffic). The brakes are perfect. Also installed the kit on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee today. As before, easy installation (except…

Top quality! in brake kits

First of all I have worked as a mechanic for most of my life. I have used almost every manufacturer of brake parts. These brakes are really fantastic! Precise processing, low dust, perfect fit, durable processing. Literally every aspect of a good braking system. Bought front discs, pads and calipers. It has never been so easy for me to assemble all three parts. Bonus, their price can't be beat. I will buy the same for the rear brake. only complaint, actually more of a picky suggestion. I wish…

Perspective F350

So yeah, the first 3000 miles they worked fine. After that they were completely done. I've added a 2004 F350. long bed 6.0 and it ate those brakes at lunchtime. First, I knew the rotors were wrong as soon as I hit the gas pedal to avoid the soccer nut. They worked well enough that I had to drive a truck, so I left them on. After about 2500 miles I started getting the first squeaks, surprisingly no tremors. After 5000 miles I can't apply the brake without squeaking and the truck shakes badly…
